Naturotherapy

Naturotherapy is a multidisciplinary field of care that may be eligible for insurance benefits. We encourage you to check with your provider to ensure that your current plan covers naturotherapy. Amanda is a member in good standing with the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada (ACNN). Click on Amanda's picture to see full descriptions of each service.

Registered Massage Therapy: Accepting New Clients

These options will provide an RMT insurance receipt. This is an appropriate selection for prenatal massage.

Student Massage Therapy (Does NOT provide RMT insurance receipt)

Meet Rita, a second-year student at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy, as she hones her skills during practicum hours. Rita's schooling requires monthly objectives, and your session may include a supervised assessment to gauge her proficiency. Join us for a revitalizing experience, knowing you're contributing to Rita's growth as a skilled practitioner.

Bodywork (Does NOT provide RMT insurance receipt)

Bodywork is massage that is not recognized by insurance benefit providers in Canada. Amanda is a Massage Therapist trained outside of Canada, and Meighan is a Bodyworker trained for holistic, non-clinical environments within the country. Both provide professional and high quality massage treatments.

Amanda Dehling, Naturotherapist

Amanda is a member in good standing with the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada (ACNN).

My name is Amanda, I have always held a respect and passion for the holistic healing of the body through massage. I am a strong believer in the “vis medicatrix naturae”, the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Through various modalities I will help to support you as you connect with your body’s needs, allowing you the space to rest and repair. It is an honour for me to be an intuitive and responsible Naturotherapist and bodyworker who engages and collaborates with clients to meet their specific needs. I have great respect for all people and walks of life and strive to practice in a way that fosters that environment. I use a combination of craniosacral therapy, neuromuscular, myofascial, cupping, manual therapy and Reiki, to facilitate your ability to heal yourself.

I have long been interested in health and wellness and after spending more than a decade working in health care, I’ve decided to shift my focus. I’m currently completing my massage therapy diploma and am excited to graduate and continue working in the Yukon. My style can be described as intuitive, and I listen and treat each client as an individual. Juniper has been working as a massage therapist for over a decade and has developed a broad and flexible skill set. She is good at everything from relaxation to sports and injury rehab, with a strong focus on assessments to get to the source of chronic pain and physiological knowledge that allows her to treat a broad range of injuries safely and effectively. She is also currently studying nursing and brings a holistic health approach; combining her veteran massage experience with new knowledge and perspective to approaching health from her fresh nursing skills.
