Bodywork (Does NOT provide RMT insurance receipt)

Bodywork is massage that is not recognized by insurance benefit providers in Canada. Aneta is a physiotherapist of eight years in Poland - practicing as a bodyworker in Canada due to regulations.

Swedish Relaxation Massage (Does NOT provide RMT insurance receipt)

These treatments are is not recognized by insurance benefit providers for Registered Massage Therapy in Canada. Alita is certified in Swedish Relaxation Massage. Alita's schedule has exclusive times for 60 and 90 minute treatments. Make sure to check them both to see her full availability.

Registered Massage Therapy: Accepting New Clients

These options will provide an RMT insurance receipt. This is an appropriate selection for prenatal massage.

Student Massage Therapy (Does NOT provide RMT insurance receipt)

Meet Rita, a second-year student at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy, as she hones her skills during practicum hours. Rita's schooling requires monthly objectives, and your session may include a supervised assessment to gauge her proficiency. Join us for a revitalizing experience, knowing you're contributing to Rita's growth as a skilled practitioner.

Hi there, my name is Emma and I’m a registered massage therapist (RMT) who works with a client centred approach. I begin treatments with a short intake so that I can understand what your goals are - be it relaxation, reducing pain and discomfort or restoring function after an injury. The modalities I work with depend on the individual needs of the client, including myofascial techniques, joint mobilizations and deeper techniques such as trigger point release.

Massage can be a very effective way of calming the nervous system and deepening our mind-body connection. I seek to provide a safe space for you to explore body awareness. With compassionate care and therapeutic techniques, I’m looking forward to building my practice in Whitehorse!

I have long been interested in health and wellness and after spending more than a decade working in health care, I’ve decided to shift my focus. I’m currently completing my massage therapy diploma and am excited to graduate and continue working in the Yukon. My style can be described as intuitive, and I listen and treat each client as an individual.
